Ruins and relics exhibition

last Saturday, February 5 s' took place the inauguration of the exhibition of Guiry-en-Vexin, which were unveiled to the public, the remains of monumental friezes Soviet Pavilion of the Exhibition Internationale des Arts et Techniques in Paris in 1937, updated in 2009 to Baillet-en-France in the Val d'Oise by INRAP (National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research.

the bottom of the cooler de Baillet-en-France, among the broken statues.
Today, ten of twenty-two characters partially restored, showing the eleven Soviet republics are presented in their original magnificence.
Catherine Vaudour Museum Director, presented the show with his side of our friend Francis Gentili INRAP, exhumeur great before the Lord! which seems very happy!
Emotion for visitors who discover these statues full of history and symbols!
