Where Are Brian And Andrew From A Place In Greece

EXPO 58 is open ...

. ..
to mark the opening of the Brussels World Fair 1958, the youth newspaper TINTIN comes a wonderful cover!

1958 remain in history a great year, that of the Brussels World Fair, which opens tomorrow, Thursday, April 17. Belgium, the host country, has offered to all participating nations a theme that is certainly the best he could find: "Techniques and Humanism." She asked: "What have you done for humanity? How your scientists, your engineers, your artists do they contribute to the welfare and happiness of men?".

52 countries answered that question in the context of what is known in Belgium, more conveniently: the EXPO. And is expected in Brussels between April 17 and October 19, some 30 million visitors from around the world *!

wonderful event, so fruitful in terms of international friendship, so valuable to take stock of what the 52 most important countries of the world have to offer to humanity!

In this issue we talk about the speedway built and fitted by the "Tintin" in the "United for Children" at the Expo, where young drivers could drive electric cars equipped with 2-speed gearbox and a reverse, faithful reproductions of the famous Mercedes 190 SL ...
if anyone has pictures of the Speedway, and / or cars, I'd be curious about that! thank you in advance.

* there will be more than 41 million visitors.
