The organization, in 1992, an international event inevitably raises many questions of personal ethics in relation to the theme. It is not just a simple exposure to the global event but a cultural, scientific and sociological. Visitors should be led through the various exhibitions to perceive the state of the world and draw conclusions.

The theme of "The Age of Discovery" means a reading of technology as inseparable culture to better understand the significance of the discovery and the context in which it arose.

The French Pavilion is in this spirit. Its architecture defines a special atmosphere, created thanks to advanced technology implementation for a purpose that transcends it: to promote the culture to which it belongs. Promiscuity, overabundance of shapes, juxtapositions anachronistic crowd. The need for space, shelter, calm and cool, stairs to sit, drinking fountains.

A dominance over the crowd, like a pedestal accessible from all sides, a huge entry gate or threshold, in the shadow of a roof. At first sight, no technical ostentation, only "blue sky" floating above their heads, as if by magic, 15 meters high. Four carbon fiber poles chrome disappear into the blue sky or the lights of the night. Without arrogance, this volume is fantastic.

Space, Architecture, 1992. The pavilion is distributed according to a very classic. Under blue skies, the portico gives access to the pavilion itself through a monumental gate on the axes.
